NYC is apparently pissed as hell. If this dude gets found...his ass is as good as kicked. God help him if the cops don't get there quickly, the people on the street are going to make sure his hip gets broken.

The part of me with 80 year old grandparents thinks there should be some kind of sentencing clause adding a few years to the sentence for assault when the person is so old....I can't think of a reason why we shouldn't. Assault on a minor has extra weight. Why not on the elderly?

Go, New York! Find this guy and kick his ass! But eventually hand him over to the cops. They'll want their turn too, and sharing is caring.

Saw Zodiac over the weekend. GREAT movie. 

Robert Downey Jr is the man. I'm literally going to hunt down some more movies with him. Even in scenes with other really great actors the man just dominates. Sounds like good news for the Iron Man movie, no?

Also: Wtf? Mark Ruffalo can act? When did this happen?

Man...when I'm in a shitty mood I really can't help myself.

I hate being in a bad mood. This stems mostly from the fact that it really weirds out my mom and causes her to get irritated with me. I don't want to deal with that so I usually pretend there's nothing wrong. If I do let my bad mood show she usually tells me to either suck it up or "oh you're  just over reacting"

I think I'm allowed to be in a bad mood sometimes. It's really only natural. Everyone has bad moods. They pass. The problem is when I smack people in the face with my grumpiness. I feel badly about that, but sometimes I just can't help it...

...Like when Kyle says something so simplistic and reductive about a social/political trend...It's like a slow pitch across the plate...I can't help myself. I need to attack....I don't mean to hurt feelings...but I'm out for blood.

Fuck this. I'm getting some Starbucks and a brownie after work.

Okay...I majorly fucked up my knitting project....the two pieces I made don't match up at all in terms of size. The back (the part that's a pain in the ass) is too short on the top and bottom around the armholes.

BUT! I've been able to fix it. Probably not the way you're supposed to do it...but it seems to be working. The top was easy: remove the bound off stuff and keep knitting. For the bottom...I'm picking up stitches with a crochet hook and transferring them to the needle. I don't think that's how my book wanted me to do it....but it seems to be working.

This kinda of outside the box critical thinking and problem solving is what I spent 4 years in college for.
